Position Title: Head of ICT & Multimedia

Job Summary

 Dhaxalreeb Organization is seeking a qualified, experienced, and motivated professional to fill the position of Head of ICT & Multimedia. The successful candidate will lead the organization’s ICT & Multimedia Department, oversee technology systems, multimedia production, documentary development, and digital communication platforms, ensuring efficient, secure, and innovative ICT services that support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

 Manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, servers, networks, computer systems, and user support services.   Design, develop, implement, and monitor ICT systems, policies, procedures, backups, and disaster recovery plans.   Ensure data security, asset protection, system audits, risk management, and implement strategic ICT solutions.   Keep the organization updated with technological innovations and ensure cost-effective ICT operations.   Oversee production of videos, photography, documentaries, graphic design, and digital media content for organizational visibility.   Plan, script, film, and edit documentaries highlighting organizational impact, achievements, and success stories.   Supervise websites, social media platforms, live streaming, media coverage, and digital archives.   Lead publication design and preparation of organizational reports and communication materials.   Supervise ICT staff, multimedia teams, consultants, and provide ICT training to staff members.   Prepare reports, work plans, and coordinate with management, donors, and external partners.  

Requirements & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, ICT, or a related field.   Minimum 5 years or more of relevant experience in ICT management, systems administration, and multimedia.   Experience in multimedia production, video editing, photography, graphic design, and documentary production.   Strong leadership, communication, reporting, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.   Experience in cybersecurity, networking, database management, and ICT support services.   Ability to align ICT services with organizational goals and deliver innovative solutions.  Language Requirements:   Fluent in English (spoken and written)    Native proficiency in Somali
