Main Job Purpose
Assist the Logistics/Admin Officer in office operations and staff welfare by preparing meals and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
Key Result Indicators
o Clean workplace
o Good office facility administration
o Smooth functioning of kitchen facilities and meal services
Accountabilities
o Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area.
o Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and meals as required.
o Plan daily menus and ensure meals are prepared on time.
o Purchase and store food items properly.
o Ensure food quality and hygiene standards are maintained.
o Maintain records of kitchen supplies and report shortages.
o Prepare refreshments and meals for visitors and official meetings.
o Clean kitchen utensils and cooking equipment daily.
o Cook food using appropriate methods and equipment.
o Monitor stock and request supplies when necessary.
o Dispose of food waste appropriately and maintain sanitation.
o Follow food safety, sanitation, and health procedures.
o Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

External: Visitors and Guests
Work Environment
Indoors 95%, Outdoors 5%, 5 working days per week, 2 days off, Working Hours 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills and qualifications
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum primary education or vocational training.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in cooking.
Languages: Somali required; basic English is an advantage.
