Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented S&W C2 Technician (OCONUS) to join our team in an OCONUS location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The Sense and Warn (S&W) Command and Control (C2) Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, repairing, and de-installing C2 systems and sub components; various communication networks and sub-components; and emergency notification systems.
- The S&W C2 Technician performs site surveys for audio distribution of indirect fire alarm units; tracks and provides initial report processing of indirect fire events; and is responsible for all data analysis.
- The C2 Technician performs field-level preventative maintenance of the C2 systems and assists in developing reports, assessments, and briefings as directed.
Skills and qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of relevant experience or combined education with C2 systems, a system within the Army Battle Command System (ABCS) suite, or similar systems and system administration.
- Two (2) years of experience supporting DOD/DOS operations at international work locations.
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Command and Control systems, and Emergency Notification systems.
- Knowledge of system administration, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and employment of wireless and local area networks.
- Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
- Must demonstrate the ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
- Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a cohesive team.
- Must be able to multitask efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail.
- Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of DOD Advanced NCO or Warrant Officer Command and Control systems administrator courses is desired.
- Experience working with senior Government staff and interagency communications and coordination is desired.
- Graduate of DOD Command and Control training course for systems administration or networking is desired.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current Secret security clearance.
- Must be immediately eligible for and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and eligible for SCI access.
Travel Requirements:
- Position is full-time overseas in high threat and austere locations.
- Travel to various sites within operational locations using customer provided transportation is required as directed by the S&W management.
Physical Requirements:
- Moves about inside an office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Uses a computer and other office equipment.
- Grasps, positions and assembles equipment.
- Communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
