Job Summary

Wadajir Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Medical Director to lead all clinical services and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical governance, patient safety, and medical workforce management across the hospital.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all clinical departments and medical staff
• Implement clinical governance policies, protocols, and performance standards
• Ensure quality assurance, patient safety, and infection control systems are fully operational
• Manage medical staff credentialing, appraisal, and discipline processes
• Coordinate with hospital administration to ensure smooth service delivery
• Monitor clinical performance indicators and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health regulations and hospital licensing requirements

Minimum Requirements

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent qualification
• Postgraduate training in a medical specialty or healthcare management
• Full medical registration and license to practice
• At least 10 years of relevant clinical experience, including leadership responsibility
• Experience working in a private or tertiary hospital environment
