Job Vacancy: GTO 52  and KORS  Machine  Operator

Position: GTO 52 and KORS Machine Operator
Type:  Full-Time Contract
Location:  Mogadishu, SOMALIA.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced GTO52 and KORS Printing Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and maintaining a Heidelberg GTO52 and KORS Machine press, ensuring high-quality print output while meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

· Set up and operate the Heidelberg GTO52 single or multi-color offset press, and KORS 52x72 machine  including hanging plates, adjusting registration, and preparing ink setting.

· Monitor print quality throughout production runs, making necessary color corrections and adjustments to maintain color consistency and customer specifications .

· Perform routine preventative maintenance on the press, such as cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs to minimize downtime .

· Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with the press, making adjustments to feeder and feed board as needed .

· Read and interpret job specifications and work orders to determine the required materials and press setup .

· Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures .

Qualifications & Requirements
· Proven experience as a Press Operator, specifically with the Heidelberg GTO52 offset press and KORS Machine

· Strong understanding of offset printing procedures, color management, and quality standards .

· Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills .
· High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work .

· Ability to distinguish colors accurately .
· Ability to read and follow written work instructions and job specifications .
· Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs .
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred .

Preferred Skills

· Experience with [mention any specific press models or features, e.g., GTO 52 with numbering/perforating unit].
· Knowledge of pre-press processes (e.g., plate reading, ink mixing) .
· Experience in a fast-paced commercial print environment .
