Background:

Marwa fertility center is specialist clinic exclusive for reproductive medicine, and committed to helping patients struggling with fertility challenges. Marwa fertility center has been operating in Mogadishu since 2020.

Marwa fertility center is looking for qualified candidate to fill the vacant position of Radiographer in Marwa fertility center.

Overall job responsibilities:

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting order for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Calibrate and adjust X-ray equipment in accordance with general and individually prescribed protocols.
• Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, provide explanation of treatment, and answering patient questions.
• Responsible to take all the clinical radiography required for diagnosis.
• PerformsHysterosalpingogram (HSG) tests.
• Maintain records of films and digital images taken in the unit, prepare statistical reports and analysis and ensure proper care in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure radiation safety procedures in the unity in accordance with the radiation protection rules and regulations.
• Protect patient and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
• Perform any other duty may be assigned by the high administration.

Experience and qualifications:

• Basic degree or diploma in Radiology
• Registered as a radiology technician
• Minimum 3 years of experience in radiology
• Able to use digital X-ray
• Demonstrate good knowledge on Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) tests
• Good knowledge on HDQY printer, and transferring the images in the form of CD-DVD drivers.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Somali and English languages
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, power point)
• High commitment and ability to work under pressure
