Position Title: Program Coordinator
Organisation : Tubsan National Centre for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE)
Duty Station: Mogadishu, Somalia
Supervisor: Tubsan Director General or his/her designated representative

Role and Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator will play a central role in coordinating and supporting the implementation of all programs under the Tubsan National Centre for P/CVE. The position involves strategic planning, coordination with stakeholders—including government entities—monitoring activities, and ensuring timely delivery of program outputs. The coordinator will also be responsible for strengthening collaboration, facilitating public engagement forums, and supporting the Centre’s capacity-building efforts.
Under the supervision of the Director General or his/her designated representative, the Program Coordinator will:
• Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of programs and activities in line with Tubsan’s work plan and national P/CVE priorities.
• Coordinate with relevant ministries, state institutions, civil society organizations, and international partners to ensure effective collaboration and alignment of efforts.
• Facilitate communication and joint planning with government counterparts to support policy dialogue, implementation oversight, and sustainability.
• Plan and facilitate public forums, community dialogues, and stakeholder consultations to promote public awareness, inclusion, and engagement in P/CVE initiatives.
• Support Tubsan in organizing and delivering induction training, onboarding sessions, and capacity-building workshops for newly recruited staff, local authorities, and implementing partners.
• Work closely with the M&E team to ensure results-based monitoring of activities, timely documentation, and reporting on program performance.
• Draft regular reports, briefing notes, meeting summaries, and other documentation required for internal and external audiences, including donors.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all programmatic activities are well documented and aligned with project goals.
• Contribute to the development of new program proposals, concept notes, and resource mobilization efforts as needed.
• Liaise with the administrative and finance teams to ensure smooth implementation of planned activities, including procurement, logistics, and coordination of events.
• Participate in internal planning and review meetings and provide technical input for continuous program improvement.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Director General or designated representative in line with the objectives of the Tubsan Centre.

Skills and qualifications
Education:
• Advanced university degree in Political Science, Development Studies, Public Administration, Peace and Conflict Studies, or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in program coordination, project management, or public sector engagement—preferably in peacebuilding, governance, or P/CVE sectors.
• Experience working with government institutions, civil society, and international partners in Somalia is strongly preferred.
Languages:
• Fluency in Somali and English (written and spoken).
