Vacancy position – Bio-Medical Engineer.

We are looking for an inventive Biomedical Engineer to join our team, to develop pioneering biomedical technology. Your expertise in biomedical engineering will enable you to develop technological solutions to complex medical problems.

To be successful as a Biomedical Engineer you should be able to develop advanced healthcare technology and be able to advise others on how to use the technology effectively.

Bio-Medical Engineer Responsibilities:

. Evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical machines, equipment, and software.

Maintaining and repairing biomedical machines and equipment, when needed. Providing technical support, when needed.

Keeping up-to-date service histories on all biomedical machines and equipment.

Training clinicians and other personnel on how to use biomedical machines and equipment, safely and effectively.

Researching new materials, technologies, and engineering aspects of biological processes and systems.

Writing reports and documents detailing protocols, policies, standards of use, maintenance, and repairs of biomedical equipment, machines, and software.

A medical degree in Bio medical Engineering or bioengineer from a credited program

From an Electrical and Electronics / Biomedical Engineering background

Proven experience working within the field of biomedical engineering in a multi-modality hospital set-up with Critical care, Operating Theater, Neonatal care etc.

Analytical and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail.

Great eye for design and the technical ability to transform designs into products. Exceptional team-working and communication skills.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Good computer and electronic record skills.

Excellent verbal and written English skills, particularly communication and presentation skills for divers audiences.

Friendly, amicable, humanly.

Can at times work independently with minimal support. Basic knowledge of Human anatomy desirable

Language requirement:

1. Somali
2. English
3. Arabic
