Job Title: Clinical Success Manager Location: Remote   About ViewRay ViewRay®, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRAY) designs, manufactures, and markets the MRIdian® radiation therapy system. MRIdian is built upon a proprietary high-definition MR imaging system designed from the ground up to address the unique challenges and clinical workflow for advanced radiation oncology. Unlike MR systems used in diagnostic radiology, MRIdian's high-definition MR was purposely built to deliver high-precision radiation without unnecessary beam distortion, and consequently, help to mitigate skin toxicity and other safety concerns that may otherwise arise when high magnetic fields interact with radiation beams.

 The Vision for Success

This critical and strategic role for ViewRay will drive radical customer delight by ensuring a successful learning journey that allows our customers to execute on their vision to increase utilization of the MRIdian System and ensure the success of their MR Linac Program. 
 
The Clinical Success Manager (CSM) is responsible for delivering world-class physics, radiation therapist, dosimetrist, and radiation oncologist training that leverages the latest, best practices for adult learning pathways for in person and digital learning. The Clinical Success Manager will report to the Director of Clinical Services and work collaboratively with Customer Success Managers to ensure customers have the training and tools that ensure success of their MRIdian programs. 
 The CSM will be responsible for: 

  • Delivering on campus training at our world-class training center both in person and virtually, where applicable.  
  • Delivering training to our users at clinical sites to ensure live support is successful.  
  • Provide leadership and direction for the delivery of clinical training and support to customers in order to provide world class training and maximize customer satisfaction. 
  • Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction for all training curricula. 
  • Participate in research to assist in optimal development of in-house, field-based, and remote education curricula. 
  • Manage customer relations in classroom and on site to ensure customers can operate their MR Linac according to a minimum safe and effective use guidelines  
  • Integrate with the Innovation and Development teams with test environments to best understand ViewRay’s latest technology and deliver world-class training. 
  • Maintain and enhance the MRIdian “How To”, “Best of” and “Optimization” of classroom and remote training curriculum in collaboration with the development lead. 
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to identify learning opportunities and disseminate physicists, therapists, dosimetrist, and radiation oncologist best practices from top MRIdian sites to all customers 
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide the necessary support to enable the best support and optimize customer relations. 
  • Act as an ambassador for the organization and be the face of our world class learning centers. 
  • Develop “Optimization” curricula to address top workflow optimization needs of existing customers (patient setup, pre-planning, contouring, etc.) 
  • Execute the clinical portions of training and workshops on an as-needed basis 
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to provide product demonstrations and support the sales team  
  • Work with Customer Success Managers to manage a training calendar for new and existing customers 
  • Engage in continuous learning within radiation therapy and be known as a reliable, trusted resource of accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge 

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in radiation therapy, nursing, life sciences, or a related academic field. 
  • Minimum of 2 years radiation therapy experience required 
  • Minimum of 2 years dosimetry experience desired 
  • Minimum of 2 years educator experience desired in clinical setting 
  • Command of adult learning theory, classroom education, and digital training preferred 
  • Experience developing, planning, facilitating and executing educational programs; able to conduct needs assessment and design in-house, field-based, and remote education/training programs desired 
  • Ability to map task interdependencies, multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work within budgets 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, flexible environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities 
  • Comprehensive interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills 
  • Certification / License to practice as Radiation Therapist, Dosimetrist or Physicist 
  • Travel minimum 50%; nationally and/or internationally
