We provide advice and guidance on customs regulations, import and export procedures, and trade compliance issues. We can also help importers and exporters to calculate the taxes, duties, and fees that apply to their goods, and may be able to negotiate lower rates on their behalf. Overall, working with a clearing agent can help to simplify the customs process and reduce the risk of delays, penalties, and other complications.

Sahal Logistics wants to hire skilled logistics officer who can handle the all logistics and supply chain jobs.

Job Description:

A Logistic coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of containers and final products from suppliers to customers. You will also plan and coordinate with respective marine and operations personnel for availability and timely turnaround of vessel including berthing if required, discharging, loading, bunkering and related vessel activities.

You will also manage and coordinate with port operations team to ensure the company has full representative needed at the site.

Job Location and Duration:

Job will be Garacad town, and duration is one-year contract with renewal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work with both domestic and foreign customs agents, creating customs documents as required.
2. Complete all required forms/reports, purchase orders, bills of lading, manifests related to logistics activities and perform proper filing of documentation.
3. Oversee, execute, and complete material acquisition for both government and Companay accountable materials and equipment aboard the vessel.
4. Maintain inventory in vessel or at the port site and stockrooms of government, as well performing periodic audits of containers and other stocks at the store.
5. Do clearing services for all our clients furnished equipment and supplies.
6. Function as the integrated maintenance and logistics system coordinator using soft wares and provided systems. Additionally, utilizes the Safety Management System (SMS) to ascertain required information regarding containers and other materials.
7. Be able to work with our partners of varying skill and ability in a patient and thoughtful manner.

Skills:

1. Knowledge and familiarity with all marine logistics and supply chain.
2. Computer literate: ability to use maintenance management system and Microsoft Office suite.
3. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural instructions.
4. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
5. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
6. Ability to interpret instructions presented in written, oral, or schedule form.
7. Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff.
8. High degree of professionalism, Strong customer care service skills, Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
9. Capable of working independently and maintain an appropriate attitude towards work and remain flexible to changing priorities, position, work site and working hours.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Business or related field preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a logistics role preferred.
3. Knowledge and expertise in computer skill, government dealing process, office management and recordkeeping and inventory controls systems is highly required.
4. Ability to learn marine logistics and capture at immediate is an asset.
5. First Aid knowledge, land transportation experience, valid driving license, clean tracking record and other language skills are extra advantages.
