Established in 2010, PLTC is a Logistic Solution & services provider which provides six main services: facilities management, procurement, transportation, customs clearance, warehousing & freight forwarding and Security services.
PLTC is looking for.

Main purpose of the role
Carry-out highest quality cooking services including managing food stock according to PLTC standards and protocols.
Key responsibilities
Under the Facility manager the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
- Undertake menu planning.
- Prepare and cook and serve the main meals, snacks, cakes, sweets etc. in accordance with specified menus.
- Determine quantities to be cooked and size of portions to be served, taking into account diets to meet medical and personal needs.
- Check quantity and quality of stock received and notify facilities manager of deficiencies.
- Oversee and support washing and cleaning of floors, crockery, utensils, work surfaces and other kitchens equipment to ensure that the necessary hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining room as appropriate.
- Ensure that the appropriate clothing, including headwear, is always worn in accordance with the health guidelines.
- Co-operate fully with the statutory inspections and implement recommendations as appropriate.
- Train the cooking staff
- To undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and qualifications
- Minimum Intermediate School
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in cooking in a four-star hotel is mandatory; experience working in UN/INGO/Embassies compounds is desired but not a requirement.
- A good knowledge of English is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of cooking all main dishes and sweets is a requirement.
- Experience with international cooking is mandatory.
