Freelance Software Tester (Media Project, Africa)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers from selected African countries to join a massive Media testing project we are running for one of our clients. You will test different features of media and streaming services. The project will require Exploratory and Stream testing. Beginners in software testing are welcome to apply.

• You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone + Mayotte, Liberia, Somalia, the Republic of South Sudan, Sudan
• The role is 100% remote, but for the purpose of testing we need you to be located in the mentioned area. VPN is not allowed. If you are located elsewhere in Africa and would like to participate, please email us [email protected]
• Language: English (intermediate or higher)
• Devices you may need (any of the mentioned devices): Android/iOS/Huawei mobile device or Mac/Windows or a Smart TV

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Exploratory, Stream testing
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload: 2 hours per week, ad hoc
• The pay rates start at 10 USD per hour.
• Payments are made on a weekly basis via PayPal or Payoneer.
