1.      The AEFPF project has received financing from the African Development Bank Group toward the cost of Additional Financing to the Multinational Program to Build Resilience for Food and Nutrition Security in the Horn of Africa (AEFPF Somalia) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract Individual Consultant – Conduct Environmental and Social Compliance Audit for AEFPF Project, Somalia Component. The Executing Agency will process the payments for this contract using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing.

2.      As part of project interventions, Individual Consultant – Conduct Environmental and Social Compliance Audit for AEFPF Project, Somalia Component is required. The client is seeking the services of individual consultant to undertake this assignment.   

3.      Save the Children International as the Implementing Agency for the project now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience (Job Application Letter, Curriculum Vitae, Description of Similar Assignments conducted for projects financed by Multilateral Development Banks, Experience in Similar Conditions and References).

1.      Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations” dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
