PROTECTION ASSESSMENT CONSULTANCY FOR KISMAYO, DOLLOW, GAROWE, AND BAIDOA.

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental humanitarian organization with 75 years of experience in creating a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. The NRC defends the rights of displaced populations and provides assistance in the following areas: shelter, education, food security and livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).

 Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Somalia wishes to invite qualified firms to submit bids (Administrative, Technical and Financial proposals) – Protection Assessment Consultancy for Kismayo, Dollow, Garowe, and Baidoa.

Skills and qualifications

Application and Required documents.:

The proposal should include the following at minimum:

1.       1. Fully Completed tender bid documents (Section 5 – 9)

2.       2. Completion and inclusion of requested information and supporting documents (Administrative compliance) to be submitted with tender.

a)       Copy of company registration – Proof of registration from the country of origin as a limited liability company sole trader/self-employed

b)      Copy of company tax compliance certificate 

3.       Technical supporting documents

a)       A cover letter introducing the consultant. The cover letter should introduce the team composition and specify the role to be played by each team member.

b)      A technical proposal of not more than 10 pages outlining how to execute the task with a clear framework, methodology, and timelines. It should demonstrate a clear understanding of the ToR (Terms of Reference)

c)       Previous experiences in similar works/services - Evidence of similar or related work in the context of Somalia (Samples of similar work) is required.

d)      Resume of each team member (Schedules (Key Personnel and Activity schedule)

4.       4. Financial supporting documents

a)       Price in comparison to NRC estimated rate - Proposed budget indicating consultancy fee, logistics cost and all other auxiliary costs in USD per location.

5.       5. The consultant’s availability.

6.       6. Reference letters and the contact of at least three referees (email and telephone). 

This tender is valid from 09th May 2024 to 18th May 2024 at 23:59 EAT.
