Position Description
To generate ideas, shape them into reality, and carry out green urban development projects, we would want to work with more consultants. Consultant experts will oversee or assist with the creation of instruments for collecting data, data collection activities, analysis, reporting, and learning. The implementation of evaluations, assessments, and research in the aforementioned industries requires experience and skill, which consultants must possess. It is also preferred to have prior experience building capacity in these areas. We are also seeking specialists who can serve as subject matter experts for review teams and have extensive experience or competence in the aforementioned fields.
Skills and qualifications
Required Skill Areas
§ Creating many kinds of studies, assessments, and mixed-methods evaluations (performance, effect, etc.)
§ Overseeing the execution of diverse mixed-methods evaluations (such as effect and performance), analyses, and assessments
§ Proficiency in statistics, sampling techniques, statistical analysis tools, and data validation techniques are essential for controlling and analyzing data quality.
§ Creating and completing assessment reports
§ Ability to undertake participatory data collection procedures and protocols, use systems thinking to evaluation design, and lead exercises in participatory data validation and analysis
§ Creating and instructing in logical frameworks and theory of transformation
§ Strengthening the staff's capacity for evaluation and learning,
§ Creating and carrying out programs in any of the aforementioned industries.
§ Experience of mobilizing finance and investment attraction
§ Experience building the capacity of institutions responsible for urban infrastructure planning, design and development.
Skills and Qualifications
§ Must have a relevant Master’s Degree and at least seven years of related experience (or Bachelor’s Degree and at least ten years of relevant experience)
§ Applicants should have significant and related experience, in addition to technical skills, essential qualifications including excellent written and spoken English.
§ Prior demonstrated experience leading, coordinating, and delivering large-scale technical activities in respective fields.
§ Proven skills in evaluation design, methods, quantitative, and qualitative methodologies and analysis. Strong proposal and report writing skills.
§ Strong training and facilitation skills.
