TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT
TO 3 DELAYS MODEL OF SAFE MOTHERHOOD TO SUPPORT SAFE DELIVERY, AND MATERNAL, NEONATAL, AND CHILDHOODTRAIN.
Introduction
The Somaliland Nursing and Midwifery Association was established in November 2004. The mandate of the Association is to act as both the professional organization and a representative for the nurses and midwives within Somaliland by protecting, developing, and building their capacity in order for them to deliver quality healthcare services.
SLNAM have well established regional office in the 6 regions of Somaliland, in which each have
A president, vice, cashier and regional members.
The Association has successfully raised the profile of nursing and midwifery in the country; has developed a database of all the nurses and midwives who are qualified.
SLNMA works closely with other health partners including the Ministry of Health, other professional bodies, training institutions and health service providers.
The Association joined hands with the Somaliland Medical Association to support the formation of the National Health Professions Council.
Purpose
The purpose of the training manual development is to capacity build 3 delays safe motherhood FP community health workers on 3 delays model to enable them provide quality Integrated 3 delay model.


Skills and qualifications

Technical Proposal Submission and Budget formulation:
Prospective consultants should submit proposals presenting the budget in United States Dollars (USD), clearly indicating the daily consultancy fees. In addition to the financial proposal, they should present technical proposals indicating the methodology to be employed for the assignment. The proposals should be in agreement with the timelines that have been included in these Terms of Reference.
