Experienced Architect

Fair Construction & Real Estate is a fast-growing design-and-build company delivering highquality residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Somaliland. We are seeking
a full-time Architect who wants to be part of a growing company, contribute to its standards and
systems, and grow alongside the business over the long term.
This role is ideal for an architect who is hands-on, technically strong, and motivated by
responsibility, ownership, and long-term career progression. The ideal candidate will be a
qualified architect who is able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. This candidate should
have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently
communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be
able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are
being followed.

Responsibilities
• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
• Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal
finished product
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
• Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
• Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets
• Deliver architectural design from concept stage through to full construction
documentation
• Produce high-quality 3D interior and exterior renders for client presentations and
approvals
• Prepare complete architectural drawing packages including floor plans, site plans,
sections, elevations, and details
• Prepare and coordinate MEP drawings for residential projects including electrical,
plumbing, HVAC, and drainage
• Develop and coordinate structural drawings in collaboration with the structural engineer
• Prepare finishing schedules, material specifications, and design details
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and site personnel throughout the project
lifecycle
• Provide ongoing design and technical support during construction stages

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in architecture
• 3+ years of experience in construction and architecture
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
• Strong 3D visualisation capability (interior and exterior)
• Proven experience in designing MEP design
• Experience in structural design is a major advantage
• Ability to deliver buildable, construction-ready drawings
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet agreed timelines
• Willingness to be based full-time in Somaliland
