Dahabshiil Electronics, is a Trading company incorporated in accordance with the laws and regulations of Somaliland and the company dealt with the trading of Electronic devices and gadgets. Dahabshiil Electronics (Previously known as Dahabshiil Trading Co) was established in 2018 with the objective of unifying the trade expertise together with a team of young and dynamic professionals. As a trading company, Dahabshiil Electronics imports and exports goods and engages in various related services.

Wholesale duties and responsibilities

• Buy Products or services for resale to wholesale or retail consumers.
• Negotiate prices, discount terms, or transportation arrangements with suppliers.
• Examine, select, order, or purchase merchandise consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements, or other factors, such as environmental soundness.
• Recommend mark-up rates, mark-down rates, or merchandise selling prices.
• Obtain information about customer needs or preferences by conferring with sales or purchasing personnel.
• Authorize payment of invoices or return of merchandise.
• Monitor and analyse sales records, trends, or economic conditions to anticipate consumer buying patterns, company sales, and needed inventory.
• Collaborate with vendors to obtain or develop desired products.
• Inspect merchandise or products to determine quality, value, or yield.
• Conduct sales meetings to introduce new merchandise.
• Consult with store or merchandise managers about budgets or goods to be purchased.
• Provide clerks with information to print on price tags, such as price, mark-ups or mark-downs, manufacturer number, season code, or style number.
• Train or supervise sales or clerical staff.

Wholesale skills and qualifications

·         Ability to work well with a diverse range of people

·         Attention to detail

·         Customer service skills

·         Working knowledge of popular CRM software packages, as well as online-specific purchase order software

·         Excellent negotiation skills

·         Ability to sell the organisation’s products and services

·         Management of the financial resources available for purchases

·         Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

Minimum Role Requirements

Education: university degree in Business Administration, or other relevant field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of E-commerce and online Platforms

Language: Fluency in oral and written communication in English and Somali (proficiency/level C).
