Somali Youth Climate Leadership Fellowship (SYCLF) – Cohort 1, 2025

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Somalia, with international partners, announces the Somali Youth Climate Leadership Fellowship (SYCLF) – Cohort 1, 2025. This 8-week virtual program empowers Somali youth with knowledge and skills to lead climate action, policy, and advocacy. Participants will learn about climate science, Somali and global climate policies, negotiation, and climate finance, preparing them for COP30 and the Africa Climate Summit. SYCLF aims to build a strong network of youth leaders who will drive climate-resilient development and positive change across Somalia’s communities.
