Introduction

NAGAAD Network was founded in 1997 as the umbrella of women’s organizations operational in Somaliland to advocate for women’s and children’s empowerment and to work towards achieving an egalitarian society, where women, children, and men are equally significant. NAGAAD currently has a representation of 46 women’s organizations across the country

NAGAAD Network, in partnership with UNFPA, will procure women’s sanitary kits (Dignity kits) in Burao of Togdheer region and will be distributing dignity kits to the most vulnerable women and girls affected by drought in Somaliland. To provide Dignity Kitts the 1240 most vulnerable women and girls living in the IDP camps.

The outcome of the project

An increased number of women and girls have accessed GBV specialized service and prevention information through GBV one-stop centers and women and girls’ safe spaces in the project interventions locations

Objectives of the mission;

  1. To Select vulnerable women and girls living in the Burao
  2. To distribute dignity kits for women and young girls
  3. To provide Dignity kits to the 1240 most vulnerable women and girls living in the Burao

Scope of the mission;

The Project locations are in Burao, Togdheer.
