Tender brief description:

 

The Purchaser, Yme/GSA, now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of teaching, training, and learning equipment and a solar photovoltaic (PV) system for delivery, installation / commissioning, and user training at the Prof Adow TVET School in Galkayo, Galmudug State, Somalia.

 

The Purchaser will be responsible for customs clearance and inland transportation in Somalia, from the port of entry to the project site, before the Supplier or its Local Agent executes the installation, commissioning, and user training at the School.

 

All international Bidders must nominate a Local Agent which is a) registered and operational in Somalia; b) handles goods’ similar to those offered in the applicable Lot(s); c) is able and capable to conduct the Related Services at site in Galkayo (Installation, Commissioning, User Training) - with remote support from the Bidder as required; and d) available for the provision of spare parts. Bidders may bid for 1 or more of the following Lots, and may be subsequently awarded 1 or more Contracts: Lot 1 - Training Area: Construction, Masonry, Woodwork & Plumbing Equipment

 

Lot 2 - Training Area: Metal Engineering & Welding

Lot 3 - Training Area: Automotive Engineering

Lot 4 - Training Area: Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Renewable Energy

Lot 5 - Training Area: Information and Communication Technology

 

Lot 6 - Training Area: Furniture and Catering Equipment

Lot 7 – Solar Photovoltaic System

How to obtain documents:

A complete set of bidding documents is available to interested Bidders upon request to the Project Executing Agency to [email protected] ; cc. [email protected] and [email protected] . The bidding document will be emailed free of charge to the requesting party. The bidding documents received from the Purchaser are not transferable.

The Purchaser will conduct an online pre-bid clarification meeting at 11:00 (Central European Time), 04 June 2024, to which representatives from interested companies are encouraged to attend. The meeting link is provided in the bidding documents.

Submission details:

Bids must be delivered to the address indicated in the clause ITB 22.1 of the bidding document on or before 14:00 (Central European Time), 23 July 2024. Late Bids will be rejected.
