Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Construction Companies for the Construction/Rehabilitation of Cabdullahi Ciise Sports Stadium in Galkayo South, Galmudug State

Date: 9th April 2024

The Nordic International Support Foundation (NIS) in Collaboration with the State and Federal Government of Somalia and respective international donors (RNE/SDC) under PROSPERIS stabilization program would like to undertake Construction/Rehabilitation of Cabdullahi Ciise Sports Stadium in Galkayo South, Galmudug State.

Therefore, NIS Foundation is hereby inviting all interested and qualified contractors/bidders to submit their application in this pre-qualification process.

All interested potential bidders are required to submit the following documentation: -

      Licences:

o   Registration certificate from Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction & Housing, FGS.

o   Registration certificate from Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction &

o   Operating license/permits from Galkayo South DC/Municipality.

      Tax compliance certificate: Shall possess a valid tax compliance certificate (TIN) from Ministry of Finance, Galmudug State of Somalia for 2024.

-          Proof/evidence of company ownership: all bidders shall submit a signed public notary document stating the ownership of the company including names, positions/titles, contacts details and shares owned. Note: Failure to submit all above licences will lead to automatic disqualification.

-          Previous similar works experience: Shall submit ONLY 3 previous similar infrastructural civil construction related contracts implemented with and/or for government institutions, International non-governmental organizations (INGOs) or UN agencies in the last 7 years. Note: Forged contracts will lead automatic disqualification.

Please fill the below table with the details of the three contracts being submitted (Note that only this template shall be applied when filling)

      Relevant CVs and list of equipment: Shall share CVs of relevant technical staff and list and the pictures of equipment owned or rented.

      Company Finances: Shall present a dully signed financial statement confirming that the company is financially in good position and able to pre-finance construction works as necessary.

      Supplier ethical standard form: Fill, stamp and submit the attached supplier ethical standard form.
