INVITATION FOR QUOTATIONS (IFQ) FOR GOODS

To: All Interested Bidders

1.         Galmudug State of Somalia (GSS), has set aside funds to be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation for quotation is issued.

2.         The format of this Standard Bidding Document shall be:

            This Invitation Letter;

            Section I - Instructions to Bidders and Detail on the Evaluation of Quotations;

            Section II - Bidding Forms including anti-corruption and anti-Bribery Statements;

            Section III - Specifications;

            Section IV - Local Purchase Order complete with General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and Special Conditions of Contract (SCC);

            Eligible Bidders are hereby invited to submit their price quotation for supplying the Goods as described in the “Schedule of Requirements and Prices” attached as Bidding Form B of Section II and also in “Specifications” – Section III. Bids must include all the documents listed in the Instructions to Bidders.

.     Bidding will be in accordance with the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Galmudug Procurement Manual under the section of ‘Procurement of Goods. All interested Bidders can get the detailed bidding documents by sending a request email to: [email protected]. All the details for submitting the quotation, including specification of the items, are detailed in the Invitation for Quotation  document that will be sent to interested suppliers  upon request.

4.         Deadline for submission will be on 6 September 2024 at 4:30 PM East African time. Quotations will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidder representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Ministry of Finance of Galmudug State of Somalia in Dhuusamareb.

5.         Late quotations, sending quotations to one email only, quotations not received, quotations not opened at the quotation opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
