REQUEST FOR QUOTATION
RFQ Nº UNFPA/HRG/RFQ/2022/07/001
Dear Sir/Madam,
UNFPA hereby solicits a request for quotation for the following items:
This Request for Quotation is open to all legally-constituted companies that can provide the requested products items listed in the above table and have legal capacity to deliver the items packed in the buckets.
- About UNFPA
UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is an international development agency that works to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.
UNFPA is the lead UN agency that expands the possibilities for women and young people to lead healthy sexual and reproductive lives.
- Content of quotations
Quotations should be submitted in a single e-mail whenever possible, depending on file size. Quotations must contain:
- Price quotation, to be submitted strictly in accordance with Price Quotation Form attached.
- The quotation must be signed by the company’s relevant authority and submitted in pdf format
- Currency of quote and for further payment:
Please submit your quotation in United States of America Dollars.
- Deadline for submission of quotes:
The RFQ will be open starting from Monday 04th July 2022 and will be open till Monday 11th July 2022 at 16:00 local time. Questions will be answered in writing and shared with all parties as soon as possible after this deadline.
- Overview of Evaluation Process
Quotations will be evaluated based on the compliance with the technical specifications and the total cost of the goods (price quote). UNFPA is not just looking for the cheapest items, but rather focusing on the better the quality delivered by the supplier strictly following the specification for the items.
Along with the submission of the price quote and sample, the following document should be submitted which will also be evaluated:
- Valid Commercial License: The interested candidate should be legally-constituted company with valid commercial license and registration certificate
- Tax clearance Certificate. This should indicate the taxpayer identification number (TIN). If not, Tax Identification Number Certificate (The supplier should have Taxpayer Identification number.
- Company/Supplier Profile: showing the company name, Company History (year founded), Contact Information, the goods and/or services (it will be good if the supplier has knowledge and past experience in the procurement of dignity kits with UN/INGOs)
- Recommendation/Appreciation Letters: The supplier should submit, if it has any such letter from UN/INGOs)
- Access to the Request for Quotation (RFQ) to be Filled and Submitted

How to apply
- Quotes for the prices: Quotes from suppliers and other requested documents should be sent by e-mail ([email protected]) as indicated in Section II no later than Monday 11th July 2022 at 16:00 local time.
- Samples of dignity kits: Share one sample of the dignity kits packed in the bucket to UNFPA office in Hargeisa not later than Monday 11th July 2022 at 16:00 local time. For this, coordinate with the contact person below. Make sure that the samples in bucket.
