Invitation to Bid (ITB)

The Jowhar District Council invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified companies for the works below. This procurement is financed under the Dowlad Kaab Project 2025.

Lots (you may bid for one, any, or all)

• Lot 1: Construction Jowhar Municipality Office (new build)

Scope (summary): The scope of work typically encompasses site preparation, foundations and superstructure, roofing, finishes, doors and windows, as well as electrical and plumbing installations. It also includes accessibility features and external works such as paths, ramps, and drainage systems, along with basic furnishings as outlined in the bidding documents, which consist of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), drawings, and technical specifications.

Availability of Bidding Documents

Bidding Documents are available at the Jowhar District Office at a non-refundable fee of USD 20 per set. An official receipt will be issued. Bidders must attach a copy of the receipt to their bid.

• Bid submission deadline: 4:00 PM, 05 September 2025
• Bid opening: Immediately after the submission deadline, in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the Jowhar District Main Office.

Preparation of Bids: You are requested to Bid for the Works by completing, signing and returning:

• the Form of Tender 
• the Bill of Quantity and Drawings.
• the documents evidencing your eligibility, as listed below.
• Submit hard-copy sealed bids (one original + one copy) clearly marked with the Reference 
• Bid validity: minimum 7 days from the submission deadline.
• Late bids will be rejected.
