1) Bids shall be made valid for a period of One hundred eighty (180) days after the deadline for bid submission. The deadline for receipt of bids is on 28th December 2022 at 11.59pm. Any bid submitted after the deadline, will not be accepted.
Section 2: Instruction to Bidders2.1 Introduction to LLG
- Lifeline-Gedo is a Humanitarian, Non-profit and non-governmental Organization dedicated to responding to humanitarian emergences through provision of lifesaving support mechanisms in partnership with national and international role players, promoting peace and stability, advocate against all kinds of violence, initiate long term and short-term development projects.
2.2 Tendering Process

2.3 Site visit
The Tender Evaluation Committee will make site visits to the bidder’s physical office during the tender evaluation process - if deemed necessary to ascertain the bidders’ capacity to implement the construction works.
Bidders are requested to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the site conditions – site visit form will be signed by the person in charge and should be attached to the bid document as proof.

2.4 Submission of Bids
Electronic bids should be either submitted to the email address provided below [email protected] or alternatively hard copy can be submitted to LLG offices in Dolow town.
The email/envelope subject should state the tender reference number:
SR4317/LLG/SOM/NOV/2022/WORKS
The deadline for receipt of bids is on 28th December 2022 at 11.59pm any bid submitted after the deadline, will not be accepted. The tender opening date will be 29th December 2022.
If the email subject is not stated as instructed above, LLG will assume no responsibility for any misplacement.
2.5 Supporting Documentation to be submitted together with Bid Applications
Copies of the following supporting documentation must be submitted together with each Bid Application, failure to which the bid will be disqualified:
- Business registration certificate by JLS and Gedo Authorities
- Registration Certificate by Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of JLS
- Valid Tax Compliance Certificate by JLS
- Company Profile
- Copy of previous contracts for relevant Works undertaken by the bidder for the past 3
- Original bank statement signed and stamped by the relevant bank authority including transactions for the past 6 months with a balance equivalent to 10% of the bid
- Tender Declaration Form completed, signed, and stamped
- Work plan/Gantt chart
- CVs for technical staff
