    Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Construction Companies for Reconstruction of Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation (MoIFAR), FGS Head Quarters in Mogadishu

    Date: 14.02.2024

    The Nordic International Support Foundation (NIS) in Collaboration with the Federal Government of Somalia and respective international donors (under PROSPERIS stabilization program would like to undertake the reconstruction of Ministry of Interior complex, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation (MoIFAR), FGS in Bondhere district, Mogadishu.

    Therefore, NIS Foundation is hereby inviting all interested and qualified contractors/bidders to submit their application/interest in this pre-qualification process.

    All interested potential bidders are required to submit the following documentation: -

          License:

    o   A valid Registration certificate from Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction & Housing of Federal Government of Somalia (7

    marks).

    o    A valid Operating license/permits from Benadir Regional Administration/Municipality (5 marks)

          Tax compliance certificate: A valid tax compliance certificate (TIN) from Ministry of Finance, Federal Government of Somalia for 2024 (5 marks).

          Proof/evidence of company ownership: all bidders shall submit a signed public notary document stating the ownership of the company including names, positions/titles, contacts details and shares owned (3 marks)

          Previous similar works experience: Shall submit ONLY 3 previous similar infrastructural civil construction related contracts with monetary value worth of USD 1,000,000 (One million US dollars) or above implemented with and/or for government institutions, International non-governmental organizations (INGOs) or UN agencies in the last 7 years (57 marks). Any bidder/contractor with no previous experience of implementing construction contracts of worth USD 1,000,000 or above need NOT apply.

    How to apply

          Relevant CVs and list of equipment: Shall share CV’s of relevant technical staff and list and the pictures of equipment owned or rented (8 marks).

          Company Finances: Shall present a dully signed financial/bank statement confirming that the company is financially in good position and able to pre-finance construction works as necessary (2 marks).

          Supplier ethical standard form: Fill, stamp and submit the attached supplier ethical standard form.

          All interested contractors are required to send all the above documents

    to NIS procurement latest 11:59PM (Local time) Wednesday, 28th February 2024 through this email: procurement.somalia@nis-foundation.org.

          ANY INVALID/FORGED DOCUMENTS WILL LEAD TO AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION

    OFFERS WILL BE REJECTED IF ANY ILLEGAL OR CORRUPT PRACTISES HAVE TAKEN PLACE IN CONNECTION WITH THE PREQUALIFICATION PROCESS.
