EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT (FWA) FOR THE PROVISION OF OFFICE DRY FOOD ITEMS AND DETERGENT FOR NIS FOUNDATION COUNTRY OFFICE MOGADISHU, SOMALIA

Date: 8th June 2022

The Nordic International Support Foundation (NIS) is a Norwegian-registered non-profit organization engaged in stabilization and reconciliation initiatives in conflict and post- conflict locations. Our primary areas of intervention are institutional development, public service delivery and conflict resolution. Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, NIS recently finalized a project in Sri Lanka and currently implements projects in Somalia, Myanmar and the Sahel. NIS Somalia is currently implementing a wide range of stabilization projects in all federal member states with plans to expand into new areas. The projects, funded by different donors, aim to support the implementation of government policies across a range of sectors, all working in different ways to achieve greater stability and better prospects for the country’s longer-term development goals. The various stabilization initiatives share the objective of contributing toward a more inclusive post-conflict society which sees the value of diversity and gender equality.

NIS-Foundation Mogadishu office invites qualified Bidders who wish to be considered for the proposed supply dry food items and detergents. Qualified companies who are eligible to procure and deliver dry food items and detergents in Mogadishu Office, are hereby invited to participate in.

Basic requirements for those whom desire to participate in this are required to submit the following requirements:

  • Updated Company profile.
  • A valid registration from Benaadir Regional Administration
  • A valid registration of ministry of Commerce and industry of Federal Government of Somalia.
  • The company must have shop in Mogadishu (attach sign board picture of your shop).
  • The Company Must Possess support financial Documentations I.e. Invoice, Receipt voucher, Stamp (please attach samples).
  • Experience: Undertaken works of similar nature over the last 2-3 years, to satisfactory completion (Attach previous Purchase Orders and Contracts at least Three).
  • Delivery schedule and confirmed delivery to NIS Foundation office in Mogadishu.
  • Defects liability and guarantee period.

How to apply

  • The Offer shall be valid for one year and all prices of the items should be consistency.
  • A company who did not submit their required registration License will automatically disqualified.
  • Offers will be rejected if any illegal or corrupt practices have taken place in connection with the award.
