Invitation To Tender for the Construction of New Sites for Somtel Group in Hargeisa, Somaliland

Background:

Somtel Group is the Telecommunications arm of Dahabshiil Group and one of the leading telecommunication players in Somalia and Somaliland. Somtel is a subsidiary of Dahabshiil Group, the fastest growing business in the region with interests in finance, banking, telecommunications, real estate, automobile, energy, and power sectors among others. Somtel plans to construct two new sites for telecom towers in Hargeisa.

Bidding will be done through a fair and competitive bid process as per the Dahabshiil’s Procurement Policy and Procedures. Bidding is open to all eligible contractors with proven capacity and licenses.

Interested bidders must request the Invitation To Tender documents by sending an email to [email protected].The ITT reference number, ITT/0006/SOMTEL/Apr/2023 must be as the email subject. A hard copy can be obtained by collecting from Somtel’s HQ office in Hargeisa.

All bids must be submitted as a sealed documents delivered to Somtel’s HQ office. No electronics bids will be accepted. No bids will be accepted later than May 3rd, 2023.
