World Vision Somaliland is implementing a project named Burco livestock restocking gift catalogue project, the project activities includes Goats Restocking. Thus, Word vision invites pre-qualified and reputable local Suppliers with proven experience of Donkey/Livestock supply, for the purchase of 20 Male donkeys to support 20 vulnerable households and will be distributed of pastoral and agro-pastoral communities in Boodhley, Kaladhac, Masalaha gorod, Bali samatar, Bali cambaro and Godorka villages of Togdheer region. Therefore, to tender for the supply of Male donkeys, the conditions and technical requirements is stated in this invitation at Annex 1:

Important note:

Offers transmitted in any other manner than those indicated above will not be considered.

Your offer should clearly indicate:

• Unit price as per the Request For Quotation (RFQ) in Annex II.
• Offer Price should be net after deduction. Applicable Taxes must be clearly stipulated and separated from the base costs.
• Validity of the offer.
• Delivery time.

1. Currency of offer should preferably be in US Dollars, but in case local currency is offered, the comparison of offers will be based on the prevailing rate of exchange.
2. World Vision reserves the right to accept the whole or part of your offer.
3. World Vision Somaliland reserves the right to accept or reject any application (bid), and is not bound to give reasons for its decisions. Canvassing or giving false information will lead to automatic disqualification.

ANNEX 1: EVALUATION CRITERIA

1. Mandatory Requirements:

1. Provide a certified copy of a certificate of business registration.
2. Provide a certified copy of tax registration.
3. Provide information on ownership structure (Name of directors of the company / Owner)
4. Provide references from previous customers
5. The tender should be submitted at latest by 21st November 2022 on 5.00pm.

Technical Requirements:

• The Male donkeys should be the common breed that is locally reared within Togdheer region.

• The required Male donkeys should be healthy, mature and good body condition with no injuries or wounds and without any defects.

• The age of Male donkeys should be 4-5 years old.

• The Male donkeys will be subjected to clinical inspection at the point of delivery by

Veterinary officer/Project livestock officer and those not fit clinically will be rejected.

• Upon the delivery of Male donkeys, the supplier should provide certificate of health inspection issued by the regional veterinary officer.
• The supplier is responsible for the transport; uploading/offloading of Male donkeys should deliver at the identified distribution site in every target villages listed below.

1. Boodhley Waqooyi – 4 Household
2. Kaladhac - 4 Household
3. Masalahagorod- 4 Household
4. Bali Samatar – 2 Household
5. Godorka – 4 Household
6. Bali Cambaro – 2 Household

Completed tender documents (Mandatory Requirement along with the Quote) in sealed envelope clearly marked with the title Supply of (Tender of procurement 20 Male donkeys) and must be deposited in the tender box located at WVS Hargeisa Office before the closing/deadline date and recorded in the attendance sheet.
