1. Introduction

The Rural Education and Agriculture Development Organization (READO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified service providers for the provision of pumps (solar pumps & hydrams) for surface irrigation in hirshabelle state, Jowhar District. This activity is part of READO's ongoing Humanitarian Drought Response.

2. Scope of Work

Description:

Supply delivery and installation of 26.400Kwp solar PV system with18.5kw surface pump for irrigation system to support ten communities MSME, Somalia) in Jowhar District.

3. Bid Requirements

Interested bidders must submit the following documents:

1. Valid company bank statement.
2. Copies of previous contracts or purchase orders as evidence of similar experience.
3. Proof of relevant experience in general services or related fields.
4. Valid registration letter from the District Administration in Hirshabelle State of Somalia.
5. Detailed company profile, including:
   • Main and branch office addresses.
   • Contact information (telephone numbers and email addresses).
   • Duly completed and stamped Bill of Quantities (BoQ) on all pages of the tender documents.

4. Collection of Tender Documents

Tender documents and instructions may be collected in person from the READO Baidoa Office during working hours or downloaded from the provided link:

• Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (East Africa Time)
• Dates: Tuesday, May 19, 2026, to Friday, 29th May 2025

5. Submission Details

All completed tender documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with:

• The company name
• Contact address
• The tender reference number: RE/BAI-19/05/2026

Tenders must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, 29th May 2026, to the READO Baidoa office.

Late submissions will be automatically disqualified.
