Introduction

Daryeel Bulsho Guud -DBG (community care for all) is a Somali NGO which has been operating in Somalia since year 1993. It prides of its capacity to successfully implement both humanitarian and development projects. DBG core mission is to alleviate the sufferings of conflict and drought affected Somali people through provision of holistic and multi-sectorial, sustainable programs that link emergency relief and long-term development from the grassroots level.

In the last 10 years alone, with significant interest in the internally displaced people –IDPs as highest proportion of our direct beneficiaries, DBG supported over three million direct beneficiaries in different sectors including Food Security/livelihood, Education, Shelter/protection WASH, empower women economically and socially, promote social cohesion, and reduce.

The Purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP)

The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to secure competitive bids and proposals from qualified contractors and vendors for Daryeel Bulsho Guud (DBG) Somalia Program in Mogadishu Office for the construction of 75 pit latrines in Kahda and Deynile Districts in Mogadishu Somalia.

Mandatory Eligibility Required Documents

These documents are mandatory ones, and a supplier will not be evaluated if the below documents are not in place.

1. Legal registration/business permit certificate from the Federal State of Somalia
2. Latest valid tax compliance certificate

Bid Documents

1. Updated profile of the company with detailed physical verifiable contact address
2. Bank statement covering last 6-12 months
3. Documents showing related previous work experience
4. Detailed work plan

Selection Criteria

1. Price ratio
2. Contractual delivery time
3. Similar experience in borehole rehabilitation and construction of pit latrines (valid & clear contracts attached)
4. Financial capacity to carry out the activity (attached active bank statement)
5. Validity time of price quotation

Service Description/ Specifications

1. Construction of 15 pit latrines (2MX1.6M) for the disabilities, as specified in the BoQ & designs attached

2. Construction of 60 standard pit latrines (1.6mx1.6m), as specified in the BoQ & designs attached

DBG invites the interested qualified suppliers to download tender documents (tender notice, unpriced BoQs/specifications and designs) from the link between 29th June 2025 till 8th July 2025.
