TENDER TO SOLAR INSTALLATION IN BURSALAX, XARFO, SHERBI, BALIBUSLE AND TOWFIQ.

Background/Context

Puntland Youth and Social Development Organization(PSA) seeks to facilitate solar installation in the conflict affected districts from Peace Grants component under the Joint Peace Initiative project which is designed to translate peacebuilding efforts into visible and practical benefits for conflict-affected communities. These interventions aim to address urgent service and infrastructure gaps while strengthening public confidence in peace processes, improving collaboration between communities and local authorities, and reinforcing social cohesion.

We are seeking to support the selected conflict affected districts (Bursalax, Xarfo, Sherbi, Balibusle, and Towfiq) through the installation of solar street lights with the objective of significantly improving  community safety, visibility, and movement at night through the installation of solar street lighting.

Scope of Work

The scope of work shall entail the following;

1. Installation of solar panels in line with the BoQ

2. Prepare reports to demonstrate the performance of works. The deliverables shall include but are not limited to;

4. Quality control report

5. Completion certificate

Instructions to suppliers

1. Interested service providers must submit their applications using the application forms in the link.

2. The proposal shall be reviewed based on set criteria. The technical Proposal shall take a maximum of 70% while the Financial proposal to carry 30%.

3. All vendors interested must deliver their Technical and financial proposal to our offices on latest 07/06/2026 by 5.00 PM local time. The interested service providers can also send tenders through email at [email protected]. Any submissions past the deadline will be rejected.
