Sustainable Development and Peace-building Initiatives (SYPD) is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan organization that was formally registered in Somalia in August2004 with the aim of contributing to the relief of human suffering in the country while initiating local, non-violent, and sustainable solutions to the intractable conflict that besieged the country. Regarding its mandate, SYPD strives to promote peace in Somalia, neighboring countries, and Africa through sustainable development programs that enable communities to have permanent access to basic human needs, and by addressing the root causes that drive conflict in the region. Since its inception SYPD has implemented over 100 projects in different regions of Somalia, reaching hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries from the most vulnerable communities. PROJECT OVERVIEW

Sustainable Development and Peace-building Initiatives (SYPD) is implementing “Food security for vulnerable groups affected by the food price increase project funded by Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) with the aim to Increase in food security and resilience of vulnerable populations to the negative impacts of food price increases and to contribute to the promotion of gender equity.

Rehabilitation of culverts are among key project components which, SYPD is seeking a potential supplier who has capacity to provide the below listed materials in the rehabilitation sites.

The summary requirements for which SYPD invites you to submit a proposal are shown below;

ELIGIBILITY

The Invitation to bid (ITB) is open to all eligible suppliers that have authority to operate in Hirshabelle state of Somalia.

Sustainable Development and Peace Building Initiatives (SYPD), invites local suppliers who have sound capacity to conduct the above subject to participate and submit their documents in reference to invitation bid (ITB)

1. Company Profile with clear physical address and contact information.
2. Documentary evidence demonstrating legal status and ability to operate in the country of incorporation, such as a valid Certificate of Company Registration issued by Federal Government or State level
3. Valid Tax Compliance certificate
4. Audited accounts & financial statements for 2022 & 2021
5. General experience for the last 3 years
6. Similar experience a minimum 2 year
7. Completed Supplier Registration Form
8. Completed ‘Tenderers Relevant Experience Form & Evidence
9. Signed Annexes for Invitation Declaration and SYPD Supplier Code of Conduct
10. Duly completed the attached Annex 3 - BoQ
