TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR) FOR STRENGTHENING THE CAPACITY OF SADO STAFF IN PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, FUNDRAISING, DONOR RELATIONS, AND MEAL SYSTEMS

1. Introduction
   The Social-Life & Agricultural Development Organization (SADO), established on 14 November 1994, is a non-partisan, non-governmental, and not-for-profit organization based in Mogadishu, Somalia. Operating throughout the greater Horn of Africa, SADO is dedicated to promoting sustainable development among vulnerable communities through a rights-based approach that emphasizes human dignity and access to opportunity. Its mission is to enable marginalized groups, particularly pastoralist individuals and communities, to overcome socio-economic challenges by facilitating community-driven solutions. SADO implements integrated humanitarian and development programs in key areas such as peace and governance, education, livelihoods and food security, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), while also addressing cross-cutting themes like human rights, gender, and environmental sustainability. The organization operates through well-resourced field offices and is guided by a capable and diverse Board of Directors, ensuring effective leadership and strategic direction for its initiatives across the region.
