Advertisement of Barked Rehabilitation for Galooley Village in Togdheer Region and G’da yar Village in Sahil Region 

Ururka Bisha Cas (SRCS) Somaliland (SRCS) in partnership with Germen Red Cross (GRC)  is implementing Berkeds rehabilitation development works in Somaliland, Under the project The “Enabling the SRCS Somaliland to increase Resilience of Somaliland Communities” Project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), launched in January 2021 and, ending in December 2023 is designed to contribute to strengthening the capacity of 6 Somaliland rural communities to anticipate, prepare for, reduce the impact of cope with and recover from the effects of shock and stresses without compromising their long-term prospect. This activity involves 2 Barked rehabilitation in Togdheer and Sahil Region.

In lieu of the above, SRCS Somaliland invites proposals from experienced, qualified and registered contractors to rehabilitate the above Berkeds.

      Eligibility of the bidders include:

·         Proven track record and technical expertise in dealing with rehabilitation projects,

·         Should be registered and possess valid licenses per the law of Somaliland to carry out the rehabilitation.

Qualified contractors or firms are invited to obtain further information from SRCS Somaliland, Bid and Award Committee (BAC) and collect bidding documents from any one of the SRCS offices mentioned below from 7.00am to 2.00pm beginning 10th – 13th October 2022. The SRCS shall not take any responsibility for any expense incurred to bidders in connection with the bid preparation.

Bidders should fulfill all requirements specified in the bid document and should comply with the specified terms and conditions. To facilitate the bidding process, the SRCS shall be holding a pre-bidding conference on 11th October 2022 from 9 am to11 am at the respective branches.                         

A complete bid proposal should reach one of above mention locations before 15th October 2022, by 12.00 pm. Unsealed bids or proposals received after the submission deadline shall be rejected. Therefore, bidders are responsible for the submission of their bids on time and in accordance with the instructions provided in the RFP.
