Created in 1982, Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is an independent and impartial international aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. Working alongside people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, our actions are focused on responding to their essential needs, improving their living conditions and promoting respect for their dignity and their fundamental rights.

Humanity & Inclusion started in Somaliland in 1992 by setting up a rehabilitation center in Hargeisa. HI’s strategy in Somaliland is to advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities and to engage development actors to promote inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities  and other vulnerable people  at local and national level. 

Scope of Service Provisions:

HI Somaliland Office seeks to contract the services of providing transportation services of three Toyota Land cruisers for project’s activities purposes. The logistics company must have a solid experience in Humanitarian transportation services management and understand the major rules and regulations for humanitarian organizations.

Specification of vehicles

1. TOYOTA LANDCRUISER 4 X 4

• Year of Manufacture 1994 and above
• Fuel type: Diesel
• Capacity: 5-Seater and above
• Good condition
• Complete accessories of the vehicle (two spare tires, Spanner, Wheel Wrench, Hydraulic jack, Fire extinguisher, shovel etc.)

Selection Criteria

The documents submitted will be evaluated for suitability and awarded marks which will contribute to a maximum 100% of the total tender evaluation.

This invitation is extended to all competent Logistic companies who have been certified by the Ministry of Transportation and Development.

Duration:   24 months, starting:  1st February 2023

Financial Capacity

Submit competitive monthly fixed price rate for Toyota landcruiser’s rental with qualified driver separately for each Lot mentioned above without km restriction trips for Hargeisa/Burao.

All the information requested for shall be provided in English Language.

HI reserves the right to accept or reject any application and is not bound to give reasons for its decision.

Bidders can obtain a complete set of the bidding document from HI Office in Hargeisa located Kodbur district, Jig-jiga yar, Guled Park area starting from 21st December 2022 to 28th December 2022 2 during office hours from Sunday – Thursday from 8:00am - 12:00am and 2:00pm - 4:00 pm.

Bid (technical and financial proposal) must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the reference and note mentioned below by clearly marking the envelopes as ORGINAL
