INSTALLATION OF 50 SOLAR STREETLIGHTS IN KALABAYR AND SHAXDA SETTLEMENTSPUNTLAND STATE OF SOMALIA UNDER PROSPERIS PROGRAM FUNDED BY ROYAL NORWEGIAN EMBASSY AND SWISS DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION

NIS is looking for a qualified contractor to undertake the Installation of 50 solar streetlights in Kalabayr (Nugaal) and Shaxda (Karkaar) settlements/locations in Puntland State of Somalia.

All interested contractors/suppliers are requested to submit their applications together with below-listed support documentation and other requirements for consideration:

1.      Licences/Registrations (20 marks):

The company should submit the following registrations/Licenses:

✓                Valid registration from Puntland Tender Board (4 Marks).

✓                  Valid registration license from Ministry of Public Works Puntland state (8 Marks).

✓                  Tax Compliance Certificate from Puntland State (5 Marks).

✓               Statement of Ownership. The company shall submit a signed public notary document stating the ownership of the company (Name, position, contacts, and shares)

(3 marks).

Failure to submit all above license/registrations will lead to automatic disqualification.

2.      Experience on similar/relevant previous contracts (19 Marks for each submitted contract as per below table total: 57 Marks).

✓   The company should fill in the below table with 3 main relevant/similar contracts on solar installation and construction works that the company has implemented with Government institutions, INGO’s and UN agencies only. Kindly attach the respective 3 contracts with all its annexes.

3.      Human and material resources (8 Marks): Possess necessary resources, human and material, and ability to mobilize such a resource at short notice to undertake project works (Please attach CVs of all relevant personnel and list of all readily available equipment owned or rented by the company).

4.      Company Finances (2 Marks): presents a dully signed statement/declaration confirming that the company is financially in good position and able to pre-finance project works as this is necessary.

5.      Work plan for the activity (5 Marks): The company shall submit a clear and detailed activity workplan.

6.      BoQ price allocation accuracy and responsiveness (3 marks): The company shall submit a filled and stamped BoQ in pdf and filled excel version.

All interested contractors/suppliers are requested to send electronically all the above support documents/requirements to NIS Foundation latest by 21st February 2024 before 11:59 PM (Local time) WEDNESDAY mid-night through this email: [email protected].

NB: ALL the contractors interested in this advert should submit all the following required document in the attachment.

•       Submit filled and stamped BoQ PDF version on the company’s letterhead or quotation template and also filled excel version.

•       Must submit filled and stamped supplier ethical standard form attached.

•       Contractors who have a valid contract with NIS will not be considered in this tender process.
