Introduction

The Somaliland Youth Development and Voluntary Organization (SOYDAVO) is a local non-governmental, non-profit making organization headquartered in Burao with satellite offices in Sool, Sanaag and Maroodijeex regions in Somaliland.

SOYDAVO empowers communities to identify developmental challenges they face and to take the lead to address them. SOYDAVO works with Somaliland government, UN and other International NGOs to contribute to Somaliland’s short- and long-term developmental priorities. SOYDAVO focuses on education for vulnerable groups, livelihoods, child protection, women rights, peace building and conflict resolution and WASH projects. The main target groups are vulnerable youth, women and children from disadvantaged areas such as IDP camps.

SOYDAVO with funding support from Tearfund Germany (TFDE) is implementing Sustainable food security and income generation, as well as local cooperative structure project in Baligubadle and  Salahley in the Hawd region of Somaliland.

SOYDAVO is hereby inviting all qualified suppliers for building greenhouses / purchasing of 4 greenhouses to fulfill quotations.

Instructions for SuppliersEligibility Criteria:Supplier will be selected on basis of the following criteria:

1. Must have business registration with government authorities including:
   1. Registration of local authority (District level or Regional)
   2. Tax clearance
   3. Previous work experience essential
2. Good Track Record of Greenhouse experience is essential
3. Not involved in any  fraudulent, or violation of    human right activity.

Financial Proposal:

1. Submit quotation on “Request for Quotation” format System (Computer) generated quotations and quotations on company   letter head also  accepted.
2. Quote good quality material and mention the brand name in “Remark Column”
3. Prices must be inclusive  of  all  transport, taxes  and  other  related   costs
4. SOYDAVO prefers prices with three months validity, mention clearly if you are not in
5. SOYDAVO pays after                     reception of materials  through  bank
6. If                    your specification / products   are              different    than                        SOYDAVO required specification / products   mention    your   specification / product in “Remarks” column

1. Submit your proposals in plain (not on company printed envelope) seal envelope, with reference (No 0004 Greenhouse- District name) mentioned on envelope
2. Proposals should be comprised of following documents:
   1. Financial Proposal / Prices / Quotation
   2. Proof of registration of a valid license
   3. Previous work experience (POs, recommendation letters)
   4. Company profile if any
3. SOYDAVO reserves the right       to         reject the proposals if instructions  not followed.
