PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS/CONTRACTORS FOR PROVISION OF GOODS, WORKS AND SERVICES TO CENTRE FOR RESEARCH AND INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT (CeRID) FROM MARCH 2025 TO DECEMBER 2026.

                 ADVERTISEMENT OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES (2 YEARS).

Centre for Research and Integrated Development (CeRID) emerged in 2005 from the vision of a group of Somali intellectuals. Witnessing the limitations of traditional humanitarian aid, heavily reliant on emergency interventions with minimal long-term impact, CeRID sought a new approach. CeRID's core belief was empowerment through knowledge and skills is far more valuable than temporary handouts.  This philosophy became the cornerstone of CeRID's strategy. The initial years were dedicated to sparking dialogue and conversations within Somali communities and donor circles, advocating for a shift towards sustainable development. CeRID emphasized the importance of equipping communities with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in the long run.  

CeRID's institutional focus on five Strategic Focus Areas (SFAs):

(1) Climate Change Adaptation

(2) Knowledge and Skill Development

(3) Humanitarian, Development & Peace Nexus (HDPN)  

(4) Partnership & Collaboration

(5) Organizational Capacity Development (OCD)

CeRID invites interested suppliers, that can deliver the items CeRID is looking to procure, to express their interest in the under-listed categories for the period from March 2025 to December 2026.

Interested, eligible, and capable suppliers and contractors are invited to apply for new business opportunities indicating the goods, services, and works they wish to provide in the following categories:

Procedure:

1. These documents should be packaged in a sealed envelope addressed to CeRID– Main Office Baled-hawo from 6th February to 22nd February 2025 at 5:30 PM.

2. The sealed envelope MUST indicate the category number and category description.

3. These should be deposited in the “Advertisement Tender Box” at the CeRID– Main Office Baled-hawo.

                               Important Points to Note:

1. Applications received after the deadline will be rejected.

2. All the information requested for pre-qualification shall be provided in English Language.

3. Canvassing or giving false information will lead to automatic disqualification.

4. Suppliers are not allowed to apply for more than five categories listed above.
