Tender Notice for Procurement of Sanitation Tools

In partnership with the Somali Humanitarian Fund (SHF), Peace Action Society Organization for Somalia (PASOS) is carrying out a WASH project in Burhakaba District entitled Improving Water Supply and Hygiene Interventions for IDPs and Vulnerable Host Communities. The competent vendors chosen through a competitive tendering process and are asked to submit bids for the purchase of 1500 sanitation tools for waste management, and the PASOS logistic procurement team will keep track of the quality of the delivery of the tools in Burhakaba from the qualified bidders. In order to negotiate a contract with reputable and financially secure vendors with extensive experience to purchase 1500 sanitation instruments for waste management in the designated areas in Burhakaba district, PASOS is now accepting applications. the suppliers with capacity to delivery.

Pre-requisites for eligibility are as follows:

To be eligible for participation in this tender procedure, tenderers must prove to the satisfaction of the Contracting Authority that they comply with the necessary legal, technical and financial requirements and have the wherewithal to carry out the contract effectively. Technical and financial submissions must be very explicit. Interested experienced contractor are invited apply this opportunity

Evaluation Criteria

2. Provide a certified copy of a certificate of business registration, certificate of incorporation, business license or similar document. Only vendors within the project areas will be considered.
3. Provide a certified copy of tax registration, tax clearance certificates or similar documents.
4. Quotation/Price list of the items
5. Provide information on ownership structure (Company / Owner/shareholders of the business-Contact address including Telephone Number and Passport)
6. Past Experience-Provide references of the previous works or goods supplied before (attach Recommendation letter or Previous LPOS/Agreements
7. Submit the profile of the trader/business
8. Please indicate Service delivery period
9. Bank account details
10. Technical Evaluation

Bids technical evaluation based on the specification submitted Further Information to bidders:

1. Currency of offer should be strictly in US Dollar
2. PASOS will contract the successful bidder
3. PASOS do not undertake advance before any work

PASOS reserves the right to accept or reject any offer before the award of a contract, or to cancel the bidding process and reject all offers at any time and is not bound to give reasons for its decisions. Canvassing or giving false information will lead to automatic disqualification. Incomplete offers or offers which do not comply with any of our tender conditions will not be considered. Quotations should remain valid for a period of at least 60 calendar days after closure of the tender. It is the Agency’s policy to keep all tender values in confidence.

Upon contracting for works, the Agency will pay the contractors in instalments as will be defined in the signed contracts
