Invitation for pre-qualification

Dear sir/madam,

HURDO invites all interested and eligible suppliers’/service providers to apply for prequalification. To apply, please submit the duly filled Application Form (Appendix I), clearly indicating the Reference number: " SPQ-HURDO-08-2024-18 and the sub-category of goods or services you wish to provide. Please note that HURDO does not charge any fees for this prequalification process. Both existing service providers and new eligible, capable suppliers and vendors are welcome to apply. Please submit up-to-date information as requested for consideration and registration as a HURDO supplier for goods and services.

ABOUT HURDO

The Humanitarian Umbrella for Relief and Development Organization (HURDO) was founded in 2014 as an independent, non-profit organization that was kept apart from party politics to ensure sustainable and inclusive social development and to protect human rights. Its goals include improving socioeconomic conditions, preserving and improving human life, fostering resilience, and developing long-term solutions for the most vulnerable, impoverished, and marginalized families affected by poverty and natural disasters. HURDO was established to address the persistent needs of marginalized people in Somalia's south-central region and its primary goal is to empower people and communities through comprehensive development programs, with an emphasis on the essential tools that can end the cycle of poverty and bring about long-lasting, constructive change in the community. Throughout our years of operation, we have worked tirelessly to reach remote and underserved areas where basic services are often scarce. By partnering with local stakeholders and leveraging the support of donors and volunteers, we have been able to implement impactful programs that improve the quality of life for thousands of individuals. HURDO is presently a member of the Somali NGO consortium and operates in two offices at t Banadir region and Baidoa, Southwest state of Somalia.

In no event is the registration a confirmation of guarantee of award of contract, order or tender. The purpose of the

prequalification is to identifying and obtaining a list of prospective providers of a specified category of goods, works or services by a procuring entity for a specified period of time but not exceeding more than 3 years, and maintaining them for the purpose of inviting them on rotational basis for subsequent tendering proceedings such as request for quotations or restricted tendering, that may arise during the period of listing.

HOW TO APPLY:

The bidders MUST comply with all the instructions, terms and conditions, and submit the following mandatory documents

A.    Company profile

B.    Filled, Signed and Stamped Prequalification Application Form

C.    Valid registrations Certificate

D.      Valid Tax Compliance Certificate

E.     Audit report or Bank statement

F.      Past Experience of works of a similar nature

G.    Declaration form

The Pre-qualification Documents must be submitted electronically to [email protected] in subject line: “SPQ-HURDO-08-2024-18”.

Not later on 29th August 2024 at 5:30PM.

Please note the following:

1.               Any Application document received after the deadline shall be disqualified.

2.              Received submissions will be opened thereafter by a Procurement Committee.

3.              Prequalification does not imply any contractual obligation on the part of HURDO.

4.              HURDO will not be responsible or liable for any costs incurred during this process

6.              HURDO reserves the right to accept or reject any application, either in whole or in part, without being obligated to provide reasons for its decision. Only successful entities will be contacted and Partial Documents will not be accepted.
