Dear Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs, and Private Sector Partners,

Federal Government of Somalia is embarking on a transformative journey to chart the future of our country through the National Transformation Plan (NTP) — a five-year strategic roadmap aimed at driving socio-economic progress, fostering sustainable development, and empowering all sectors of Somali society.

The role of the private sector in national transformation is critical to the success of the NTP. The private sector has always played a vital role in socio-economic development by driving innovation, generating employment, and fostering economic growth. Today, we are inviting you to be a key part of this transformation by proposing investment projects that align with the five main pillars of the NTP:

·         Sustainable Economic Transformation: Supporting projects that promote inclusive and resilient economic growth.

·         Social and Human Capital Transformation: Investing in health, education, and human development.

·         Environment and Climate Resilience: Encouraging environmentally sustainable projects that protect our natural resources and adapt to climate change.

·         Transformational Governance: Strengthening governance, transparency, and accountability.

·         Enablers for Growth: Improving legal frameworks, infrastructure, and connectivity to unlock economic potential.

We invite you to submit your investment project proposals that reflect these priorities. Whether your project focuses on agriculture and livestock, fisheries, energy, education, healthcare, logistics and infrastructure, or another sector, your ideas will contribute to NTP 2025-2029.

Interested companies can obtain submission forms via the call for projects notice on the Federal Government of Somalia’s website. submitting one document for each project.
