ALIGHT Horn of Africa has been working in Somaliland since 2011, and has a permanent presence in Mogadishu, Kismayo, Dhobley, Puntland, Las’anod and Hargeisa. Alight has remote operation in Afmadow and some places in Badade district of Lower Juba, with an overall objective to enhance protection and promote the rights of displaced persons in Humanitarian need by improving and seeking durable solutions by providing primary health care, protection, training and skill transfer, income generating projects and other related services to innocent people uprooted by war and civil conflict.  ALIGHT Horn of Africa provides assistance to more than million refugees, displaced persons, returnees, and host communities where possible. 

In reference to this, ALIGHT Horn of Africa cordially invites Interested and eligible respective suppliers with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar works to submit their ITB for the procurement of food items for 900 HH’s in Mandhera Saahil Region.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Description:

ALIGHT Horn of Africa formerly known as “American Refugee Committee” invites Interested Bidders with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar works to submit invitation to bid in a SEALED envelope and be deposited/delivered at ALIGHT Horn of Africa Tender Box in Somaliland Office/Sool Office Respectively. (All Price estimates Must be submitted on ALIGHT Horn of Africa scope of work format).

Quote Reference SM - PR/HRG-10-933- Provision and Delivery Cooking Equipment’s:

1. Requirements for Tender Documents
2. Partial Documents will not be accepted
3. Quote envelop should be sealed with the reference and must stamped
4. Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address
5. Most recent Bank statements (last 6 months).
6. Price Estimate.
7. Deliver / Lead time
8. Mode of Payment

• Valid Registration certificates for Somaliland Government

1. Tax Clearance Certificate
2. Resident in the project region.
3. Evidence of Past Experience in a similar work (LPOs/Contracts, Recommendation letter etc)
4. All bids should be written in English.

Procurement & Supply of Food Items

Interested Contractors/ Supplier with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work are here by invited to submit their Bid in a SEALED envelope, clearly marked with quote reference as mentioned in the above table Procurement of Food Items  and be deposited/delivered at Alight Horn of Africa office in Somaliland. (all Qoutes Must be submitted on ALIGHT Horn of Africa scope of work format but on the applying party Letter Head).
