Tender description

World Vision Somaliland is implementing the EU-BREACH Project - S221587 to enhance resilience, food security, and climate adaptation for displaced and host communities in Burao District, Togdheer Region, Somaliland. As part of this initiative, we invite qualified suppliers to bid for the supply of permaculture materials to support sustainable farming and environmental conservation in Ali-Xuseen IDP, Koosaar IDP, Barwaaqo IDP, Marayare IDP, Alla-Amin IDP, and Boodhley Waqooyi village.

Important:

Offers transmitted in any other manner than those indicated above will not be considered.

Requirements:

World Vision Somaliland invites pre-qualified and reputable Suppliers with proven experience in Supply of Supply of Permaculture Materials for Farmers in Burao District (Five IDP Sites) and Boodhley Waqooyi to make an offer based upon the conditions stated in this invitation to tender for the Items in Annex 1.

Your offer should clearly indicate:

  1. Unit price as per the attached RFQ

  2. Price should be net after deduction. Applicable Taxes must be clearly stipulated and separated from the base costs.

  3. Validity of the offer.

  4. Delivery time.

  5. Company Bank Account Details

  6. Completed and Signed BoQ with unit prices and total cost

  7. Delivery Timeline Commitment

  8. Delivery location: Hargeisa office

Information to bidders:

  1. Currency of offer should preferably be in US Dollars, but in case local currency is offered, the comparison of offers will be based on the prevailing rate of exchange.

  2. World Vision reserves the right to accept the whole or part of your offer.

  3. World Vision Somaliland reserves the right to accept or reject any application (bid), and is not bound to give reasons for its decisions. Canvassing or giving false information will lead to automatic disqualification.

  4. Tender prices must remain valid for 90 days from the date of tender closing

  5. Mandatory Requirements:

•  Valid Business License (Copy of valid business registration certificate)

•  Valid Tax Clearance (Copy of a valid tax clearance certificate)

Instructions for Completing the BOQ Submission:

Greenhouse Specifications:

  • Suppliers must fill out the separate sheet detailing the greenhouse specifications and requirements to provide a total cost estimate for the greenhouse.

  • This section should cover materials, structure, irrigation system, and other technical details.

BOQ Completion:

  • After completing the greenhouse specifications, suppliers should incorporate the total greenhouse cost as a single line item in the main BOQ sheet.

  • Suppliers must then fill in the remaining items in the BOQ, ensuring all listed materials and components are priced accurately.

Submission Format:

  • The completed BOQ and the separate greenhouse specification sheet must be submitted together as part of the supplier’s response.

  • Any incomplete submissions may not be considered.
