The Government of Somaliland has received a grant from the World Bank to implement the Foods Systems Resilience Project in Somaliland, and as part of this project wants to purchase seven four-wheel drive vehicles for the project operations.

The Somaliland Ministry of Agriculture Development now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for seven four-wheel drive vehicles comprising five hardtops 10-seater vehicles and two double-cabin, five-seater vehicles in Hargeisa Somaliland

Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2023 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Agriculture Development by visiting the office of the Project Coordination Unit or emailing Mrs. Zamzam Ahmed at: [email protected]  and copying Mr. Kayse Mohamed at: [email protected]  and inspect the bidding document during office hours [08:00 am to 03:00 pm] at the address given below.

The bidding document in English can be requested by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address given below. The document shall be delivered in hard copy or soft copy. The cost of courier delivery is the bidder's responsibility.

Bids must be delivered to the address below. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address given below on 29 Sept 2024 at 10:00 am.

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration Form: Using the form included in IV, Bidding Forms.

Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
