INVITATION FOR OPEN TENDER

INSTALLATION OF 48 SOLAR STREETLIGHTS IN CEELBERDE DISTRICT OF BAY REGION IN SOUTHWEST STATE OF SOMALIA UNDER PROSPERIS PROGRAM FUNDED BY ROYAL NORWEGIAN EMBASSY AND SWISS DEVELOPMENT COOPORATION.

DATE: 11.02. 2024.

NIS is looking for qualified contractor to undertake the Installation of 48 solar streetlights in Ceelberde Districts of Southwest State of Somalia.

All interested contractors/suppliers are requested to submit their applications together with below listed support documentations and other requirements for consideration:

1.      Licences/Registrations (20 marks): The company should submit the following registrations/Licenses.

✓               Valid registration or operating license permits from the Ministry of Public works at federal. (4Marks)

✓               Valid registration license from Ministry of public works from Southwest state of Somalia(8Marks)

✓                Tax compliance certificate (5 Marks): Submit evidence of State tax compliance.

✓               Statement of ownership (3 marks): The company shall submit a signed public notary document stating the ownership of the company (Name, position contacts and shares)

Failure to submit all above license will lead to automatic disqualification.

2. Experience on similar/relevant previous contracts (19 Marks for each submitted contract as per below table (total: 57Marks).

✓   The company should fill in the below table for the 3main relevant/similar contracts on solar installation and construction works that the company has implemented with Government institutions, INGO’s and UN agencies only.

Kindly attach the respective 3 contracts with all its annexes Fake contracts will lead automatic disqualification.

3.      Human and material resources (8 Marks): Possess necessary resources, human and material, and ability to mobilize such a resource at short notice to undertake project works (Please attach CVs of all relevant personnel and list of all readily available equipment owned or rented by the company).

4.      Company Finances (2 Marks): presents a dully signed statement/declaration confirming that the company is financially in good position and able to pre-finance project works as this is necessary.

5.      Work plan for the activity (5 Marks): The company shall submit a clear and detailed activity workplan.

6.      BoQ price allocation accuracy and responsiveness (3 marks): The company shall submit a filled and stamped BoQ in pdf and filled excel version.
