INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTARCTORS FOR CONSTRUCTION/REHABILIATTION WORKS IN SOUTHWEST STATE OF SOMALIA UNDER THE EUROPEAN UNION FUNDED- SUPPORT TO LOCAL STABILIZATION PROJECT- NDICI CRISIS FPI/2025/483-802

DATE: 16th June 2025

NIS is looking for qualified contractor to undertake the Construction/rehabilitation works in Southwest State of Somalia. All interested contractors/suppliers are requested to submit their applications together with below listed support documentations and other requirements for consideration:

1. Licences/Registrations: The company should submit the following registrations/ Licenses.

• Valid registration or operating license permits from the Ministries of public works, Reconstruction & Housing at Federal Government of Somalia and at State level – Southwest State.

• Tax compliance certificate: Submit evidence of valid State level tax compliance certificate**.**

Note1: All registrations will be shared with the relevant authorities for clearance. Those who fail to submit a valid/genuine registration will not be considered in the next stage of analysis.

• Statement of ownership**:** The company shall submit a signed public notary document stating the ownership of the company (a list of Full Names, positions contact details and shares)

1. Similar or relevant experience: The company should fill in the below table for previous 3 main similar signed contracts on construction works with monetary value worth each of USD 100,000 to $180,000 and above. The company should present relevant contract implemented for the last (7) years. Contracts with value below $100,000 will not be considered in evaluation. and attach 3 respective contracts only.

Note2: Fake contracts will lead automatic disqualification. NIS will do reference checking to the contracts with the implementing agencies if needed.

1. Human resources: Possess necessary resources, and ability to mobilize such a resource at short notice to undertake project works (Please attach CVs of at least two civil Engineers).

2. Company Finances: presents a dully signed statement/declaration confirming that the company is financially in good position and able to pre-finance project works as this is necessary.

All interested contractors/suppliers are requested to send electronically all the above support documents/requirements to NIS Foundation latest 28th June 2025 before 11:59PM (Local time – Mid-Night) through this email: [email protected]. Applications received after the deadline will not be further considered.
