About Hamda Solar Solutions:
Hamda Solar Solutions is a leading solar store located in Hargeisa, aiming to bring clean energy solutions to homes and businesses in Somaliland. We offer a wide range of solar products and services, including panel systems, batteries, inverters, installation, and maintenance.
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented manager to lead our team and drive the growth of Hamda Solar Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships with customers, partners, and staff.
Responsibilities:
· Store Management:
· Oversee all day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, sales, staffing, marketing, and customer service.
· Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
· Manage budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Business Development:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
· Identify and explore new market opportunities for solar solutions in Somaliland and Somalia.
· Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition.
· Negotiate and close deals with clients.
· Team Leadership:
· Motivate and lead a team of sales and support staff.
· Provide training and development opportunities for your team.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Industry Awareness:
· Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the solar industry.
· Identify and implement innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
· Participate in industry events and conferences.
· Creativity and Initiative:
· Think outside the box and develop creative solutions to challenges.
· Proactively identify and implement new ways to improve efficiency and profitability.
· Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
Skills and qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a management role, preferably within the retail or renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies and applications.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Fluency in Somali and English language.
- A degree in Business Administration, Electric Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
