Minimum qualifications, years of experience and skills
Education / Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Proven experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React) and backend development (e.g.
Node.js, APIs, databases).
• Experience designing and developing document management or knowledge-based systems.
• Practical experience integrating AI or machine-learning components, such as search, embeddings, naturallanguage processing, or AI-assisted query interfaces.
• Experience with AI-powered search, vector databases, or large language model integrations.
• Familiarity with data security, privacy, and access control in multi-user systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, well-documented code.

Desired Additional Skills and Competencies
• Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, or UN agencies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of risk management or humanitarian contexts is an added advantage.
Required Language(s) (at Working Level)
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required
